As expected, the Rev. Tyrone Gordon, began holding services at a Dallas Radisson hotel Sunday less than three weeks after he resigned as senior pastor at prestigious St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church and relinquished his ordination credentials in the wake of a sexual misconduct scandal involving him.
According to WFAA-TV Channel 8, about 200 people showed up for the service, which was closed to the media. But others who attended estimated that attendance was about half that.
